From the Salt Lake International Airport:

Leave the SLC International Airport and follow the signs to I-80 Eastbound. Travel on I-80 Eastbound for a short distance. Exit onto I-15 Southbound. Continue on I-15 as it heads south. After about 2 miles, there will be an exit for I-80 Eastbound (Cheyenne exit). Take this exit, driving east towards the mountains. Take I-80 Eastbound up Parleys Canyon, over Parleys Summit toward Park City. Exit I-80 at the Kimball Junction exit #145 and turn right onto SR 224. This road travels south and east past The Canyons ski resort and eventually enters Park City (and becomes Park Avenue). Turn left at the corner of SR 224 (Park Avenue) and Deer Valley Drive (roughly 5 miles from Kimball Junction) following the signs toward Deer Valley Resort. Continue traveling southeast along Deer Valley Drive for about one mile. At the roundabout (traffic circle) turn onto Marsac Avenue. Continue up Marsac Avenue as it turns into Ontario Canyon Road. This is a very steep road in a small canyon. After about 2 miles, you will pass a large mine on your right. You will see a small sign that says “Silver Lake Village” and points left. Turn left (a sharp, left switchback) at the sign and before the horse stables. At the top of the hill turn right onto Royal Street. Continue on Royal Street for about a quarter mile. Immediately after the large parking lot on the right is a white, Austrian-style building. This is the Goldener Hirsch Inn. There is underground parking at the back of the building.
